About Us

Welcome to 51B Mix, your independent British home specialist in waterproof bathroom stools, ergonomic shower seating, and spa-grade bathroom benches.

Our North London Story at 51b Blackstock Road

Our practical commercial journey took shape in Finsbury Park, North London, operating directly from our familiar streetfront shop at 51b Blackstock Road. Trading as 51B Mix, our independent store has long been a neighborhood fixture—readily recognized by our vibrant red shopfront, painted signage, and the classic brass key emblem hanging above our door.

For decades, local London residents have stopped by our counter for dependable hardware, home supplies, and practical domestic problem-solving. Through thousands of daily conversations with homeowners, elderly neighbors, and busy families, we learned that bathrooms can often be hazardous, slippery, and tiring spaces. Whether shaving in the shower, helping children bathe, or seeking secure, restful seating for tired joints, having a sturdy, water-resistant bathroom stool makes an immense difference to daily safety and comfort.

The Launch of Our Dedicated Online Bathroom Seating Store

Too often, high-street retailers offer fragile plastic bath stools that flex under pressure, or low-grade timber stools that crack and rot after a few weeks in steamy British bathrooms.

To provide households across the country with dependable, beautifully crafted bathroom seating, we launched our official direct-to-consumer online store—51bmix.co.uk. While proud of our North London counter roots, this website operates as our independent digital storefront. Every single piece in our digital showroom is 100% brand-new, factory-fresh, and engineered to withstand wet, humid environments—from water-resistant natural teak and bamboo slatted shower benches, to heavy-duty aluminum anti-slip bath chairs with rubber foot caps and multi-tier bathroom storage stools.
